| Walk of the lemons
The experience begins in the hills above the coast, near Ravello, where the path gradually descends toward the sea following ancient routes once used by local farmers. Stone stairways, narrow alleys, and terraced landscapes guide the walk through an environment shaped by centuries of agricultural life.
As the trail develops, lemon groves appear along the way, sometimes bordering the path, sometimes opening directly onto it, filling the air with their unmistakable scent. The route passes through small rural areas and cultivated terraces overlooking the coastline, offering continuous views toward the sea. Moving downward, the walk reaches Minori, where the landscape shifts closer to the shoreline while maintaining its traditional character. The path then continues toward Maiori, crossing the heart of the Sentiero dei Limoni, where daily life, cultivation, and architecture remain closely connected.
The experience unfolds at an easy and steady pace, allowing time to observe details and surroundings, offering a clear understanding of how lemon cultivation and coastal villages have shaped this part of the Amalfi Coast over time.
